Work for the China Project

Delivery Device: Mount Olympus

Satin ribbon, sterling silver, 18c dental gold

I had a lot of trouble naming this piece. There were so many words involved.

Delivery Device: Mount Olympus is a device for a cataclysmic delivery of a stream or collection of thoughts, emotions and ideas about a particular situation.

In the interest of decorum, not naming names, let’s call it Mount Olympus (there were a few of the gods involved after all).

Should an unlucky person be pricked with the pin, they would receive in a nanosecond - a heart beat - the blink of an eye, Mount Olympus.

Once the skin of The Unfortunate has been pierced, the knowledge of my Mount Olympus spreads like a virus through the body, the consequences and manifestations of which are currently unknown.

But….

Woe is the man who knew too much!
